31.3.2021 Kundgebung: In Solidarity with Women in Turkey and in Poland

Według wyliczeń organizacji Powstrzymajmy Morderstwa Kobiet (Kadin Cinayetlerini Durduracagiz Platformu) tylko w ub. roku zamordowanych zostało 300 kobiet w Turcji, a w przypadku wielu innych nie udało się wyjaśnić przyczyny zgonu. W 2019 r. zamordowano aż 474 kobiety, przy czym większość zginęła z ręki krewnego albo męża, w ramach tzw. zbrodni honorowych.

Jesteśmy solidarne z kobietami w Turcji i wszystkimi zagrożonymi przez państwa rządzone autorytarnie!

Walka kobiet nie ogranicza się do jednego kraju i właściwie wszędzie mamy tych samych wrogów: patriarchat i Kościół.

W Polsce Konwencja obowiązuje od 1 sierpnia 2015 r. Aktualnie o jej wypowiedzenie apeluje m.in. minister sprawiedliwości i prokurator generalny, Zbigniew Ziobro oraz fanatyczna organizacja Ordo Iuris. We wtorek, 30.03. odbędzie się w Sejmie kolejne czytanie ich projektu “Tak dla rodziny, nie dla gender”. Zakłada on m.in. wypowiedzenie międzynarodowej konwencji antyprzemocowej. Tak więc Polska może być kolejnym krajem.

Konwencja RE z 2011 r. o zapobieganiu i zwalczaniu przemocy wobec kobiet i przemocy domowej ma chronić kobiety przed wszelkimi formami przemocy oraz dyskryminacji; oparta jest na idei, że istnieje związek przemocy z nierównym traktowaniem, a walka ze stereotypami i dyskryminacją sprawiają, że przeciwdziałanie przemocy jest skuteczniejsze.

20.03. mitten in der Nacht (woher wissen wir das) Tayip Erdoğan hat die Istanbul-Konvention zurückgezogen. Die Türkei hat dieses europäische Dekret zum Schutz von Frauen vor Gewalt vor 10 Jahren als erstes unterzeichnet, daher der Name. Seit Sonntag finden in der ganzen Türkei Demonstrationen statt. Auch auf der ganzen Welt finden Solidaritätskundgebungen statt.

Nach Berechnungen der Organisation Stoppt den Frauenmord (Kadin Cinayetlerini Durduracagiz Platformu) wurden allein im vergangenen Jahr 300 Frauen in der Türkei ermordet, bei vielen weiteren konnte die Todesursache nicht geklärt werden. Im Jahr 2019 wurden bereits 474 Frauen ermordet, wobei die meisten durch die Hand eines Verwandten oder eines Ehemannes im Rahmen sogenannter Ehrenverbrechen starben.

Wir sind solidarisch mit den Frauen in der Türkei und allen, die von autoritär regierten Staaten bedroht werden!

Der Kampf der Frauen ist nicht auf ein einzelnes Land beschränkt, und in der Tat haben wir überall die gleichen Feinde: das Patriarchat und die Kirche.

In Polen ist das Übereinkommen seit dem 1. August 2015 in Kraft. Gegenwärtig fordern unter anderem der Justizminister und Generalstaatsanwalt Zbigniew Ziobro und die fanatische Organisation Ordo Iuris ihre Abschaffung. Am Dienstag, 30.03. findet im Sejm eine weitere Lesung ihres Projekts “Ja zur Familie, nein zum Geschlecht” statt. Sie setzt u.a. die Kündigung der internationalen Konvention gegen Gewalt voraus. Polen könnte also ein nächstes Land sein.

Das RE-Übereinkommen zur Verhütung und Bekämpfung von Gewalt gegen Frauen und häuslicher Gewalt von 2011 zielt darauf ab, Frauen vor allen Formen von Gewalt und Diskriminierung zu schützen; es basiert auf der Idee, dass es einen Zusammenhang zwischen Gewalt und Ungleichbehandlung gibt und dass die Bekämpfung von Stereotypen und Diskriminierung die Bekämpfung von Gewalt effektiver macht.

20.03. in the middle of the night (where do we know this from) Tayip Erdoğan has withdrawn the Istanbul Convention. Turkey signed this European decree protecting women from violence first 10 years ago, hence the name. Demonstrations have been ongoing across Turkey since Sunday. Solidarity gatherings are also taking place around the world.

According to calculations by the organization Stop the Murder of Women (Kadin Cinayetlerini Durduracagiz Platformu), 300 women in Turkey were murdered last year alone, and for many more the cause of death could not be explained. In 2019, as many as 474 women were murdered, with the majority dying at the hands of either a relative or a husband, in what are known as “honor crimes.

We stand in solidarity with women in Turkey and all those threatened by authoritarian-ruled states!

Women’s struggle is not limited to a single country and in fact we have the same enemies everywhere: patriarchy and the Church.

In Poland, the Convention has been in force since August 1, 2015. Currently, the Minister of Justice and Attorney General, Zbigniew Ziobro, and the fanatical organization Ordo Iuris, among others, are calling for its denunciation. On Tuesday, 30.03. the next reading of their project “Yes to family, no to gender” will be held in the Sejm. It assumes, among other things, denunciation of the international convention against violence. So Poland could be the next country.

The 2011 RE Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence aims to protect women from all forms of violence and discrimination; it is based on the idea that there is a link between violence and unequal treatment, and that fighting stereotypes and discrimination make countering violence more effective.
