Deine Stimme für LGBTQIA+
Am 26.06.21 wollten trotz Demoverbot mutige LGBTQIA+ Menschen in Istanbul demonstrieren. Leider gab es Gewalt, Tränengas und Verhaftungen. Gemeinsam mit Euch möchten wir unsere Solidarität vor der Botschaft der Türkei ausdrücken. Bitte beteiligt Euch auch als RednerInnen (in verschiedenen Sprachen) vor Ort. Parteifahnen sind nicht erwünscht. Während der Veranstaltung ist Nasen-Mundschutz und Abstand halten 1,5 – 2 m Pflicht.

W sobotę 26 czerwca 2021, pomimo zakazu demonstracji, społeczność LGBTQIA+ wyszła na ulice w Stambule. Niestety policja potraktowała demonstrujące osoby gazem łzawiącym, doszło do aktów przemocy i zatrzymań. Chcemy wspólnie z Wami wyrazić solidarność przed gmachem Ambasady Tureckiej 2 lipca. Zapraszamy do zabrania głosu i przemów (w różnych językach). Flagi partyjne zostają w domach, nie zapominamy o maseczkach i obowiązkowym odstępie 1,5 – 2m.
Your voice for LGBTQIA+
On 26.06.21 brave LGBTQIA+ people wanted to demonstrate in Istanbul despite a ban on demonstrations. Unfortunately, there was violence, tear gas and arrests. Together with you we would like to express our solidarity in front of the Embassy of Turkey. Please also participate as speakers (in different languages) on site. Party flags are not welcome. During the event, nose-mouth protection and keeping a distance of 1.5 – 2 m is mandatory.

“ISTANBUL, June 26 (Reuters) – Turkish police fired tear gas to disperse a crowd that gathered for a Pride parade in central Istanbul on Saturday, detaining some of those seeking to take part in an event banned by local authorities. Reuters TV video showed police in riot gear pushing and dragging people, some waving rainbow flags as they assembled for the event in a side street off the city’s central Istiklal Avenue.
Some 20 people, including a photo journalist, were detained, according to media reports.
Turkish authorities have repeatedly banned Pride events in recent years. Before then, thousands of people used to take part in the parade on the Istanbul street.
On Thursday, a majority of European Union leaders vowed to continue combating discrimination against the LGBTI community in a joint letter amid a standoff with Hungary, whose parliament last week approved a bill that bans the distribution of material in schools deemed to promote homosexuality or gender change.
